Botox for frown lines
Non-surgical| Editor Nick| Posting update : 2021.10.26
It is impossible to stop appearing wrinkles caused because of the aging process. However, one can take some actions to make the signs of aging less visible.
When we use our muscles, especially facial muscles, fine lines or wrinkles start to appear in that area.
With decreasing elasticity, the skin also drops. Frowning involves muscle movement and leads to the appearance of wrinkles between the eyebrows.
How to treat frown lines? There is a non-surgical brow lift procedure. It uses Botox (botulinum toxin type A) to relax the muscles between the eyebrows and temporarily prevents those muscles from moving. Therefore, the frown lines smooth out, and the droopy eyebrows lift.
It takes few days to see the effect of the Botox. One should repeat the procedure after several months to see the maximum result.
And it is also stated that the more injection of Botox one gets with time, there is the chance that the muscles start to decrease in size and bring more satisfactory results.
Next post, we will dive deeper into the surgical brow lift and its difference from a non-surgical brow lift.
