What are the side effects of laser toning?

We continue our posts about laser treatments. Most of the questions we are currently receiving recently are related to laser procedures. That is why I decided to give some more details regarding this topic. In today’s post, I am going to cover the side effects of laser toning.
Most people think that laser toning dries out the skin and damages it after the procedure. Is that true?
As we mentioned in our previous post, laser toning is used to remove pigmentation, freckles, or blemishes located deep in the skin. This laser removes only the pigmentation by minimizing the potential damage.
The most important to know about laser toning is the degree or strength level. When applied with a way too much strength level, one can notice the following adverse effects.
They are pigmentation or bleaching. Pigmentation gets even darker, and the procedure site (face or other parts of the body) can turn white.
Therefore, we recommend having laser treatments at the right strength level suitable for your one’s skin type.
Other than that, a strong degree of laser toning can damage and destroy the protective barrier of the skin. As a result, the skin gets dry.
Therefore, we strongly recommend our customers moisturize after the laser treatments.
Lastly, regular application of sunscreen will prevent pigmentation. This habit or practice applies to all laser procedures, not only laser toning.
If you follow all the post-procedure instructions, there will not be any need to worry about side effects.
Remember that after laser toning the skin becomes brighter and healthier with a significantly improved tone and texture.
