After care instructions for Double eyelid surgery

● You need to come to the clinic the next day after the operation.

● You need to take SinEcch (pink colored capsules) together with prescribed medicine.

● You should keep your head elevated while sleeping on the day of your operation.

● You may wash your face, avoiding the operated area. Do not let the water strike the wound. After your stitches have been removed, you may wash your face as usual.

● Apply an ice pack with a dry gauze for 2 days. Apply a warm pack (for a week) starting from the 3rd day after the operation. (Make sure the pack is warm but not hot).

● You shouldn’t do hard sports, and rub your eyes for 2-3 weeks after the stitches removal.

● Do not slouch and avoid heavy exercising.

● 2-3 weeks after your stitches have been removed, you can put on your makeup and wear contact lens.

● 2-3 weeks after your stitches have been removed, you can go to sauna.

● There is no food you need to avoid. 2-3 weeks after your stitches have been removed, you can drink alcohol.

● Though there may be a slight pulling feeling after Ptosis correction, it will improve with time.
