Both mid-face lift and a face lift surgeries aim to improve the appearance of the facial skin, but they differ in the areas they target and the results they provide.
A mid-face lift focuses on the middle part of the face, including the area under the eyes, the front of the cheekbones, and the nasolabial folds. It is especially suitable for individuals concerned with wrinkles under the eyes, sagging cheekbones, and the appearance of nasolabial folds as they age.

During the surgery, the skin in these areas is lifted and fixed to suspended tissue. This surgery is often performed in combination with lower blepharoplasty.
On the other hand, a face lift is the most effective procedure for addressing wrinkles and sagging skin across the entire face. The surgery involves making an incision starting from the top of the head, along the ear line, and continuing behind the ear. Not only the skin but also the facial muscles are lifted and fixed in the ideal position.

If you are concerned about wrinkles in specific areas of your face, a mid-face lift is the right choice. If you wish to alter the overall appearance of your face, a full face lift will be more appropriate.
