Is a Thread Lift Suitable After Having a Facelift?

Surgery 아잉 Posting update : 2024.04.08

Some patients who have undergone a facelift may notice slight sagging of their face approximately one year after the surgery and may consider getting a thread lift.

Is it possible to further lift your face with a thread lift even if you are completely satisfied with the results of your facelift?

The answer is yes. If you underwent a facelift surgery one year ago, you can opt for a thread lift to lift the skin and improve facial skin elasticity.

At She’s Plastic Surgery, we utilize mesh-type threads called “The Up Threads” for our thread lift procedures. These threads are inserted into the face through a 0.5cm incision, effectively lifting the face.

The dissolvable threads maintain the lifting effects even after they have melted away. Additionally, the incision is closed with three stitches of dissolvable sutures, eliminating the need for any follow-up treatments.

If you notice slight sagging of your skin some time after your facelift surgery, a thread lift can be an effective solution.

However, a facelift typically provides a satisfactory outcome on its own, and additional procedures are not usually necessary.

If you are considering further procedures, it is advisable to consult with your surgeon before making any decisions.
